Creating a Custom Home Page

1. On the left hand side of the WordPress dashboard, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the “Pages” button, to display more options. Click on the “Add New” link.

   
   
   




2. After you have written your page title and content, go to the right sidebar under the “Template” section, click the drop down arrow and select “Gallery.”

   
   
   




3. Then click on the “Publish” button.

   
   
   
   
   

4. Next, on the left sidebar, click on the drop down arrow to the right of the “Settings” link and click on the “Reading” link.

   
   
   




5. Now, under the “Front Page Displays” area, select the radio button left of the static page selection.

   
   
   




6. Next, click on the drop down arrow to the right of “Front Page” and select the title of the page that you just created.

   
   
   




7. Then click on the “Save Changes” button.
